Ziltek Featured in ALGA Newsletter for Kuwait Remediation Case Study

RemScan technology is highlighted in ALGA’s June 2024 publication, showcasing its impact on the Kuwait Environmental Remediation Program.

Ziltek is featured in the Australasian Land & Groundwater Association (ALGA) Newsletter, a publication dedicated to land and groundwater management. The newsletter includes a detailed case study on Ziltek’s involvement in the Kuwait Environmental Remediation Program, a landmark initiative aimed at addressing extensive environmental damage caused by the Gulf War.

The case study explores the collaborative efforts led by the United Nations Compensation Commission (UNCC), Kuwait National Focal Point (KNFP), and Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) to remediate and restore 114 square kilometres of oil-contaminated land. The program targets wet and dry oil lakes, contaminated soil, and sludge.
